Why You Should Ask God For Help
Share
It was there at Marah that the Lord set before them the following decree as a standard to test their faithfulness to him. Exodus 15:25
Like with the children of Israel in the wilderness, God did not provide for them until they cried out to God for help. God knew they needed water, food, and shelter, among many other needs, since they were in the wilderness. The children of Israel wandered through the wilderness in search of water and did not find it until they came across some bitter water. Then they murmured and complained to Moses, and he cried out to God for help. God then provided for them by making the bitter water sweet, but He did it after they tried to find water themselves. Go to God first with every decision, problem, and question. Life is easier when we go to our Heavenly Father for help.
Exodus 15:22-27
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for being patient with me and for being my present help. I repent for trying to do everything in my strength. I am asking you for help with my current situation. I know You will help me as You said in Your Word. Thank You Jesus for answering my prayers. Amen.
